Deanna McGuire

Deanna McGuire is a Registered Psychotherapist and maintains memberships with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Ontario Association for Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).

Deanna has provided counselling and therapy to individuals in the Orangeville and surrounding area for over 25 years. Having worked closely with Victim Serving Agencies over the past several years, she presents with experience in the areas of domestic violence, sexual assault, and childhood/historical adversity. In addition to specializing in the area of trauma, Deanna's expertise includes working with individuals who experience symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, substance use, and workplace and relational challenges. She formerly practiced within a multidisciplinary setting and currently works in private practice.

Deanna is an informed therapist in the areas of cognitive processing therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, narrative therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, mindfulness, humanistic theory, psychodynamic principles and somatic processing.
